The Finnish Architecture Association (SAFA) is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. Achim Menges has been invited to deliver the keynote speech at the main commemorative event, the SAFA Seminar 2017 on 19th of May.
The SAFA seminar is the major event of the Finnish Association of Architects, expected to gather some 500 Finnish architects. The list of past keynote speakers at SAFA Seminars have included architects such as Souto de Moura (1992), Glenn Murcutt (2003), Sou Fujimoto (2008), Bjarke Ingels (2008), Ruye Nishizawa (2011) and Julien de Smedt (2014) to name a few.
