David Correa and Achim Menges, Institute for Computational Design, were awarded 2nd place in the 2015 Baden-Württemberg Foundation “Forschungstag” 3D Printing Competition.

As a major operational funding organization in Germany, the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung has hosted the Research Day every second year since 2007, showcasing cutting-edge research. The selected work is part of ongoing research into Bio-inspired 3D Printed Hygroscopic Programmable Material Systems.
